"I felt like we spun our wheels a little bit yesterday, but had a great crowd today and was able to close it down a little bit in the end. I really felt that yesterday's back nine was our tournament. We had the lead for a little bit, but had way too many bogeys. Overall, I'm proud of the Baylor Bears," said head coach Sylvia Ferdon.
Texas A&M claimed the overall team championship for the second straight year with a three-round total 911. Texas A&M led by five strokes over Oklahoma State and seven strokes over Baylor.
Amanda Costner of Kansas took home the individual title with a 54-hole total 221 (71-73-77), edging Texas A&M's Ashley Knoll by three strokes.
The Bears will await the NCAA Regional selections April 30. The NCAA Regional Championships will be held May 10-12.
