WACO, Texas - Baylor's equestrian team welcomes Texas A&M to the Willis Family Equestrian center Sat., Feb. 3 for the Bears' spring home opener. The show begins at 11 a.m.

The Bears and Aggies previously met November 12 in College Station, Texas when the Texas A&M defeated Baylor 12-8. Baylor's Mary Smitson was awarded the Bear's lone MVP honor for her ride in the English disciplines Equitation on the Flat. Texas A&M picked up the other three MVP awards, Lindsey Smith in Equitation over Fences, Caroline Gunn in Horsemanship and Maggie Gratny in Reining. The Aggies bested Baylor in all our events 3-2.

Overall this season Baylor is 3-3 and looks to improve that record with four home shows this spring. In April Baylor will host the Varsity Equestrian National Championships.
