EQ Unveils 2026-27 Slate

Bears to host seven home meets at Willis Equestrian Center
WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian has released its 2026-27 schedule, announced by head coach Casie Maxwell on Wednesday.
The Bears will host seven home meets this season and travel to five meets, including one neutral site competition. BU opens its slate hosting South Dakota State on Sept. 17 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
The first weekend of October takes Baylor on a road trip to meet Delaware State on Oct. 2 and then a neutral site competition against UT Martin on Oct. 3 in Dover, Del.
BU returns home for a three-meet homestand against Fresno State on Oct. 9, TCU on Oct. 23 and Auburn on Nov. 6. The Bears earned wins against both the Bulldogs and Horned Frogs at home last year, including an 11-8 win over TCU on Senior Day.
The final meet of the fall takes Baylor to Stillwater, Okla., to face defending Big 12 champions Oklahoma State on Nov. 13.
After the break, Baylor begins the spring hosting the University of Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 30, a week before a tangle with the Cowgirls on Feb. 6 at the Willis.
The Bears then make a trip to the Golden State for a Big 12 battle against Fresno State at the Student Horse Center in Fresno, Calif., on Feb. 20. BU returns to Waco for one last home meet against Georgia on Feb. 26.
The green and gold closes its regular season slate, traveling up I-35 to Fort Worth, Texas, to face Big 12 rivals TCU on March 5.
The Bears return to Waco to host the Big 12 Championship March 26-27, the site of Baylor's 2017 Big 12 Championship.
The NCEA Championship runs April 15-17 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fla.
