Baylor's women's golf team will conclude its fall season in the Challenge at Wolfdancer set to begin on Sunday in Austin, Texas. The tournament is in its inaugural year and will feature 13 teams playing 54 holes over two days.
The Bears are coming off of their worst performance of the season after opening strong in three consecutive events. Baylor's best finish came at the Ron Moore Invitational in Highlands Ranch, Colo., where the Bears garnered a second-place finish in the 18-team tournament.
In Baylor's last outing, sophomore Hannah Burke matched her highest 54-hole stroke total, but still managed to lead the Bears.
The inaugural Challenger at Wolfdancer field consists of: Illinois, Northwestern, Baylor, Iowa State, Boston College, Arkansas State, Lamar, Middle Tennessee State, North Texas, Sam Houston State, Texas-El Paso, Texas State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Action begins from the Wolfdancer Golf Club on Sunday with a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start. Participants are slated to play 36 holes on Sunday before playing the final 18 holes on Monday.
