The Baylor women's golf team returns to action Friday through Sunday, March 17-19, at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the 6,323-yard, par-72 University of Texas Golf Course in Austin, Texas.
With seven teams from the conference competing, - Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M - the tournament will be a mini-preview of next month's Big 12 Championship April 17-19 in Lincoln, Neb.
The Bears are currently ranked second in the Big 12 and 23rd nationally in the latest Golfstat rankings and are 27th according to the Golfweek ratings.
Sophomore Sian Reddick leads the team with a 74.12 stroke average but did not play at the Texas A&M Mo-Morial. Senior Josefin Svenningsson is second at 74.72 strokes per round.
Following the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, Baylor will take a week off before competing at the Northwestern Invitational April 3-4 at the Gary Player Signature Course at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, Calif., near Palm Springs.

Meredith Jones [Senior]: Recorded her second straight top-10 finish last time out, tying for eighth at Texas A&M's Mo-Morial with a score of 230 (82-73-75)... Led the Bears by finishing third at the Central District Invitational with a score of 221 (76-72-73)... Traveled to all four fall tournaments... Carries the teams' third-lowest scoring saverage at 76.42... Best finish came at the Ptarmigan/Ram Classic, tying for 25th with a 225 (75-71-79)... Tied for 41st at the Dick McGuire Invitational(78-75-76=229)... Shot a 228 (78-76-74) at the Price's-NMSU Invitational (78-76-74=228), tying for 29th... Allison Martin [Junior]: Tied for 28th at Texas A&M's Mo-Morial last time out, shooting 239 (81-80-78)... Recorded her highest finish of the season by tying for 20th with a score of 229 (77-77-75) to help lead the Bears to their second title of the season... Competed in three of the four fall tournaments... Tied for 91st at the Dick McGuire Invitational (80-84-78=242)... Tied for 33rd at the Price's-NMSU Invitational (76-73-80=229)... Tied for 53rd at the Kent Youel Invitationaltional shooting a 240 (80-78-82).
Sian Reddick [Sophomore]: Missed the Texas A&M Mo-Morial with a back injury... Finished eighth to help lead the Bears to a victory at the Central District Invitational with a score of 224 (76-74-74)... Competed in three of the four fall events, posting a pair of top-5 finishes... Shared the individual title with teammate Josefin Svenningsson at the Ptarmigan/Ram Classic, shooting a 210 (73-67-70) and leading the team to a first place finish... Set Baylor's 18-hole scoring record with her second-round 67 and her 54-hole winning total of 210 tied the school-record low...Finished fall with scoring average of 74.00, ranking among top 35 nationally... Named Big 12 Player of Month for November... Named to Golfweek's top 50 players to watch in the preseason.
Anna Rehnholm [Junior]: Tied for 44th at Texas A&M's Mo-Morial Invitational last time, shooting 244 (86-79-79)... Tied for 20th with a score of 229 (74-81-74) to help lead the Bears to a win at the Central District Invitational... Competed in all four fall events... Tied for 10th at the Ptarmigan/Ram Classic shooting a 218 (71-71-76)... Shot a 230 at the Dick McGuire Invitational (76-78-76=230) tying for 53rd... Sherry Summers [Junior]: Will travel in case Sian Reddick is unable to play... Tied for 65th last time out at the Texas A&M Mo-Morial, shooting 249 (82-80-87)... Finished 56th at the Central District Invitational with a score of 238 (82-76-80)... Competed in two fall touraments, tying for 94th at the Prices'-NMSU Invitational, shooting 245 (84-82-79)... Had her best showing of the season, tying for 19th and shooting 223 (73-73-77) at the season-opening Ptarmigan/Ram Classic.
Josefin Svenningsson [Senior]: Tied for 17th at the Texas A&M Mo-Morial last time out, shooting 235 (80-73-82)... Tied for 16th to help lead the Bears to the team title at the Central District Invitational, shooting 227 (76-75-76)... Shared the individual title with teammate Sian Reddick at the Ptarmigan/Ram Classic and broke Baylor's all-time 54-hole low at six-under par (210), shooting 70-68-72... Would have broken her own 18-hole school record with a 68 in the second round had Reddick not posted a 67... Became Baylor's first three-time individual medalist with CSU title... Tied for 12th at the Dick McGuire Invitational shooting a 219 (70-72-77)... Tied for 23rd at the Price's-NMSU Invitational (76-75-76=227)...Finished 11th at the Kent Youel Invitational (70-75-82=227)... Competed in all four of the fall events...First on the team with a 73.58 scoring average... Entered the spring ranked 24th nationally.
