WACO, Texas -- For the third consecutive week, Baylor will not play a Friday baseball game as inclement weather in the Central Texas area forced the postponement of the Bears series opener against Arizona State. The Bears and the Sun Devils will play two nine-inning games Saturday at 3 p.m.

Fans holding tickets to Friday night's game will be able to use those tickets for Saturday's doubleheader.

This is Baylor's sixth game this season affected by inclement weather out of nine dates. The Bears have had two postponements, three cancellations and one game shortened due to heavy fog.

Baylor (5-0) and Arizona State (8-4) both reached the national semifinals at the College World Series last season. This is ASU's first visit to Waco.
