WACO, Texas -- Baylor baseball's series opener against California scheduled for 6 p.m. CST Friday, Feb. 17, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Central Texas area. The teams will attempt to play Saturday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m. CST with the series finale Sunday at 1 p.m.

No decision has been made as to when the Friday game may be rescheduled. Fans holding tickets for Friday's game should hold those tickets as they will be valid should a makeup game be rescheduled later this season.

Baylor enters the series at 4-0, its best start since 1993. California is 3-5 on the 2006 season.
