EDMOND, Okla. - The Baylor men's golf team was 26 strokes better than the round before, firing a 290 and moving up to third at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate at the 7,417-yard, par-71 Oak Tree Golf Club.
Junior Wes Williams (Franklin, Tenn.) is tied for sixth to lead the shooting a 73 for a two-round total of 148. Sophomore Bill Allcorn (Abilene, Texas) is tied for 11th at 150, carding a second-round 74.
Senior Jeremy Alcorn (Brownwood, Texas) rebounded the most, firing a 1-under par 70 after a first-round 83. He is now tied for 16th at 154.
Senior Jeremy Frye (Palestine, Texas) and junior Brian Meck (Austin, Texas) are tied for 27th at 156. Frye posted a 74, while Meck carded a 73. Redshirt freshman Colton Williams (Jacksboro, Texas) is playing individually and posted his second straight 76 to stand alone in 15th at 152..
The tournament concludes with the third round Tuesday.
