ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Bears finished 8th carding a 937 after three rounds of play (316-303-318) at the Wolverine Invitational at the 6,036-yard par-71 University of Michigan Golf Course.
Freshman Hannah Burke (Hertfordshire, England) tied for 11th to lead the Bears firing 2-under par 69 in the second round before shooting a final round 81 (77-69-81=227).
Senior Allison Martin (Bakersfield, Calif.) ended the day tied for 15th with a total of 228 (78-77-73) while Senior Anna Rehnholm (Karlskrona, Sweden) shot a 238 (81-76-81) to tie for 36th.
Freshman Natalie Hocott (San Antonio, Texas) finished 56th carding an 82 in round two and 87 in the final (80-82-87=249). Rounding out the day for the Bears, Senior Sherry Summers (Montgomery, Texas) tied for 59th shooting a 252 (88-81-83).
Freshman Kristen Hendrix (Houston, Texas) competed individually shooting a 250 (84-83-83) to tie for 57th.
Michigan's Brianna Broderick and Ohio State's Dana shot 9-over par to tie for first while Eastern Michigan's Stephany Fleet tied for third shooting 10-over par.
Michigan claimed the team title with a score of 906. Ohio State finished second at 908, while Northwestern University finished third at 910.
The Bears return to action at the Price's Give-em Five Intercollegiate October 16-18 at the New Mexico State Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M.
