WACO, Texas --- The Baylor softball team begins preparation for the 2006 season on Monday, January 16, when the Lady Bears take to the field for the opening of practice at 1:00 p.m.

Baylor will open the 2006 season when the Lady Bears host Tulsa to start the fifth-annual Getterman Classic on Friday, Feb. 10, at 3:00 p.m.
