WACO, Texas- Following last week's win at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, Golfweek named Baylor the Women's Golf Team of the Week. The team is also enjoying an unprecedented season by breaking several school records.

Sophomore Sian Reddick (Folkestone, England) was named to the "Top 50 Female Players to Watch" list by Golf World, earning seven top-10 finishes and All Big-12 honors as a freshman. Golfweek/ Sagarin College Ranking also listed Reddick at 101 in the top returnee rankings. For the first time in history, Reddick and Junior Josefin Svenningsson (Gislaved, Sweden) tied for first place at the Ptarmigan-Ram Fall Classic, while breaking several school individual records. Reddick broke the individual 18-hole score by two shots with a 67, and Svenningsson also bettered the old mark by one shot with a 68. Each player finished with a 54-hole total of 210, which also tied the school record previously set by Svenningsson.

Along with the individual records, the team collectively surpassed the 18-hole score record with a 277, nine shots better than the old record, as well as the 54-hole score with an 859, eleven shots below the previous record. The team also recorded the Ram Fall Classic Tournament record and four girls finished in the top 20, including sophomore Anna Rehnholm (Karlskrona, Sweden) and senior Sherry Summers (Eugene, Ore.). The victory was Baylor's 13th team tournament win.
