WACO, Texas -- The Baylor softball team will hold its annual alumni game on Saturday, Oct. 1, head coach Glenn Moore announced. The Lady Bears will hold an intra-squad scrimmage at 2:00 p.m. with the alumni game to follow at 3:30 p.m.

The event will conclude with a dinner at 5:00 p.m. where former players will have the chance to meet the newest additions to the Lady Bears softball program as well as a chance to recognize award recipients from the 2005 season.

After finishing 51-14 last year and advancing to within one win of the Women's College World Series, Baylor begins preparation for the 2006 season when fall practice begins on Monday, Sept. 19.
