WACO, Texas - For the third time in the past seven years, Baylor will serve as a host site for postseason baseball action, the NCAA announced Sunday. Baylor Ballpark, which also hosted NCAA Regionals in 1999 and 2000, will be the site of the Waco Regional, held Friday, June 3 through Monday, June 6.

In 1999, Baylor posted a first-round win over Eastern Illinois and then defeated Minnesota twice to win the Waco Regional. The Bears went on to host Oklahoma State in a Super Regional at Baylor Ballpark. Baylor also hosted a regional in 2000, but the Bears did not advance from that event.
