WACO, Texas (AP) - Paul Mosley had three 1-yard touchdown runs and Colin Allred returned an interception for a score in Baylor's season-ending 44-34 victory Saturday that gave the Bears a significant second Big 12 victory and ended Oklahoma State's bowl hopes.

Baylor (5-6, 2-6 Big 12) ended a five-game losing streak to win more than one Big 12 game in the same season for the first time. The Bears are just 8-72 in the conference since its inception 10 seasons ago, including a 29-game losing streak from 1998-2002.

The Bears built a 38-0 lead in the first half, when Oklahoma State had five of its eight turnovers and a penalty that wiped out a 95-yard kickoff return.

Oklahoma State (4-6, 1-6), after an upset over Texas Tech last week, could have earned a bowl berth in its first season under coach Mike Gundy with wins over Baylor and then Oklahoma. Now, all the Cowboys have on the line in their season finale is state bragging rights.

By ending coach Guy Morriss' third season with five wins, the Bears had their most since going 7-4 in 1995, their last winning season and a year after their last bowl appearance. Baylor had won three games in each of the last four seasons.

Mosley's third TD run, which made it 28-0 early in the second quarter, came on the first play after Jamaal Harper intercepted a pass by Bobby Reid and returned it 15 yards.

Daniel McLemore returned the ensuing kickoff 95 yards, but the touchdown was erased by a holding penalty and the ball taken back to the Cowboys 14. Al Pena replaced Reid and his pass on the first play was intercepted by Allred and returned 25 yards. It was the first career interception for the linebacker, one of 19 Baylor seniors playing in their last game.

Pena finished 25-of-42 passing for 351 yards and four touchdowns, two of them in the game's final minute, and two interceptions. D'Juan Woods had 10 catches for 186 yards and two TDs.

Reid finished 4-of-8 for 32 yards and two interceptions.

Shawn Bell was 22-of-35 for 272 yards and a 36-yard TD to Shaun Rochon (seven catches for 95 yards) in his return as Baylor's starting quarterback. Bell started the first eight games before Terrance Parks took over the last two.

Parks completed 19-of-44 passes (43 percent) for 153 yards with three interceptions in his two starts, and never took a snap Saturday. Instead, fifth-year senior Mark Murphy replaced Bell late, playing in a game for only the second time.

Mosley, who had 20 carries for 44 yards, ran for TDs to end the first two Baylor drives.

After the first touchdown, Mike Hamilton fumbled on Oklahoma State's next snap. The Bears needed 10 plays to go 38 yards, with Bell hitting Dominique Zeigler for 26 yards on third-and-20 and Rochon for 18 yards on third-and-8, before Mosley's second touchdown.

The Cowboys got within 38-21 when Julius Crosslin had a 1-yard TD run and Pena threw a 42-yard TD to D'Juan Woods in the third quarter.

Woods caught a 14-yard TD with 50 seconds left before the Cowboys recovered an onside kick that Parks couldn't handle. Pena threw a 3-yard TD to Brandon Pettigrew, but Oklahoma State couldn't recover another onside attempt.

Hamilton rushed for 73 yards, increasing his Cowboys freshman record to 941 yards.
