BAYLOR HEAD COACH Guy Morriss

On Oklahoma's Turnovers:
"Having been on the opposite end of those games, I know how it feels and I feel for those guys. But I'll take it. We'll take all the donations. The defense got in the act. If they're going to give them, then you have got to take advantage of it. We have had turnovers before but couldn't capitalize."

On the seniors' performance:
"They were pretty gassed up knowing its their last season in green and gold, and I thought we had a lot of energy in the first half."

On not making a bowl:
"We're not going beat ourselves up. Its important to look back and see what we can fix, and use it as a learning experience. We really wanted to get into a bowl. I'm happy that we won today, but disappointed overall."

On Shawn Bell:
"He got himself ready to play. He was mentally focused. I think the protection was better. He was throwing the ball crisply and on target."

On getting ready for next season:
"We need to have a good offseason and have a good spring training. That's what helped us this year. We've been really healthy and thats what I attribute that to."

BAYLOR QB Shawn Bell
On sitting out last game:
"I took it personally. I felt I wasn't responsible for a lot of what was going on, so I stepped up and went out there confident today and played hard."

BAYLOR RB PAUL MOSELY
On Baylor's last game:
"A lot of people thought we had nothing to play for. That we would just lay down and let them use the momentum of a possible bowl game to beat us, but we were playing for our seniors today. Our moto is If we can't go then they can't go."

BAYLOR OS Willie Andrews
On Baylor's performance:
"We played for the seniors today. Everytime you step out onto the field you have something you are playing for. We wanted the win more. We wanted to have a complete game, and to dominate on deffense and to cause turnovers and we did."

BAYLOR LB Colin Allred
On Baylor's performance:
" I think the seniors wanted to go out on a good note and we did. We had a lot to play for today and we have accomplished some good things this year. We weren't surprised at all today. We expected to win."

OKLAHOMA STATE HEAD COACH MIKE GUNDY
On Road Games:
"Unfortunately, the same thing has happened in all of our league road games. We were flat in the first half and I need to come up with a different approach to prepare us for the road because our players are just playing very flat. I need to change the way we prepare for road league games."

On Quarterback Situation:
"We haven't had good quarterback play all year. We have to get better at quarterback play and we definitely need to have fewer turnovers. With the flat play and all the turnovers in the first half, things just kind of snowballed on us. The players worked hard but the turnovers just killed us."

On Defensive Play
"There were at least 4-5 times where they had the ball inside the 30 and you can only stop them so many times. When they keep getting the ball with that kind of field position, you put the defense in a situation where their backs are against the wall."

On Today's Game:
"We were very disappointed today. Baylor has played better this whole year and is as improved a team as any in the Big 12. You have to give them credit for that but you can't win a game with [8] turnovers. You have to take it one play at a time, seven points at a time and you can't panic. In college football, it's a week to week thing. Unfortunately, we don't have anything on the line next week bowl wise. These guys have been faced with adversity all their lives and this week, they face adversity."

OKLAHOMA STATE DEFENSIVE END JERRY DON BRAY
On First Half:
"We came out flat. We underrated Baylor as a team and they came out and showed us they were here to win. It was disappointing because we always play to win but this was a game we really thought we could come on the road and win. It's difficult as a defense to guard that short of a field. With eight turnovers, you can't win.

Looking Ahead to OU Next Week:
"We always play OU hard. They are our rivals and we have to come out better and start clicking as a team right off the bat."

OKLAHOMA STATE QUARTERBACK AL PENA
On Today's Play:
"This year, we haven't played well on the road. I was really surprised with the way we played. We have a lot of young guys but we have to overcome that. I'm not going to lose any confidence. It was a bad week but we got to get it out of the way and we have to put it behind us. We're always up for the OU game. We have to overcome this on the road and get after next week's game."
