Honolulu, Hawaii- The Baylor women's golf team will travel Honolulu Hawaii to compete at the Kent Youel Invitational Tuesday November 1-2. The 5,900-yard par-72 Kapolei Golf Course will host the two day tournament.
This is the first appearance for the Bears at the Kent Youel Invitational. Last year Oklahoma took the team title at 25 under-par and Washington carded a 891 to finish second.
Baylor is coming off a short break following the "Give `Em Five" Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico State. Baylor (921) was led by senior Josefin Svenningsson (Gislaved, Sweden) who carded a (227). Fellow senior, Meredith Jones (Eugene, Ore.) completed the tournament with a final round of 74 to tie for 29th.
Junior Allison Martin (Bakersfield, Calif.) finished the tournament with a 229 to tie for 33rd. Junior Anna Rehnholm (Karlskrona, Sweden) concluded the event tied for 79th, while senior Sherry Summers shot a 245 finishing tied for 94th.
