OPELIKA, Ala. - The Baylor women's golf team dropped into a tie for 20th place but was unable to finish the second round due to lightning Wednesday at the NCAA Championships hosted by Auburn at the 6,215-yard, par-72 Grand National Lake Course.

Freshman Anna Rehnholm (Karlskrona, Sweden) and senior Kelli McKandless (Hamilton, Texas) were able to finish their rounds, each carding an 83. Sophomore Meredith Jones (Eugene, Ore.) also finished with a 76, including four birdies.

Sophomore Josefin Svenningsson (Gislaved, Sweden) has a great round in the works, sitting 1-under par with one hole to play. Senior Michaelyn Morgan (Austin, Texas) is 3-over with two to play.

Baylor was among the 12 teams that were unable to complete their rounds today. The pairings for Thursday's third round will be announced following the completion of the second in the morning and a full recap of both rounds will be available on BaylorBears.com.
