Waco, Texas - The No. 35 Bears win there first match of the season upsetting No. 31 Ole Miss 4-2. The Bears and Rebels had to play at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth due to weather conditions in Waco. The singles matches were played first due to limited court space in Fort Worth. Mississippi then defaulted out of the doubles competition after losing the singles 4-2.
