WT Releases Fall Tournament Schedule for 2026

Bears host Alumni Weekend during H-E-B Invitational
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis will open its fall slate next month, with the Bears set to compete in eight tournaments across four states before wrapping up the semester at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Athens, Georgia.
Before the competitive slate begins, the Bears will hold their annual Green & Gold Fall Scrimmage at home on Sept. 12, an intrasquad tune-up ahead of the fall tournament stretch.
Baylor's fall slate opens Sept. 19-27 at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C., where 10 singles players and four doubles teams qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Baylor will then travel to the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Ala. (Oct. 2-4), before returning home to host the ITA Texas Regional Championship (Oct. 8-12), where the top singles finalists and doubles champion advance to the NCAA Championships.
The Bears continue the road slate at the propreantepenultimate event of the fall, the Battle for the Boot JAE Foundation Open in Fort Worth, on Oct. 22-25 before coming back to Waco to host the H-E-B Invitational on Oct. 30-Nov. 1, held as part of Bears Back Together: Baylor Women's Tennis Alumni Weekend.
Baylor will then split into multiple events Nov. 5-8, with qualifying players competing at both the ITA Central Sectional Championship in Fort Worth, which sends six singles players and three doubles teams to the NCAA Championships, and the ITA Conference Masters Championship in Rome, Ga., which sends four singles players and three doubles teams.
It all leads up to Nov. 17-22, as the fall slate concludes at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Athens, Ga.
The fall schedule follows a 2026 season in which Baylor finished ranked 34th in the ITA Year-Ending team rankings, highlighted by the program's 27th NCAA Tournament appearance and 19th advancement to the second round. The Bears also had four All-Big 12 selections, three ranked victories and two qualifiers to the fall's NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
The roster welcomes back four returning letterwinners from last year's squad in Luna Ivkovic, Gabrielle Villegas and Alian Zack, along with Zuzanna Kubacha, who enters her fourth season sporting the green and gold. Baylor also added transfers Isabella Basson and Kenna Erickson, as well as newcomers Ligaya Murray, Maria Ustic and Gao Duanrui.
