WACO, Texas - Baylor women's tennis head coach Joey Scrivano will take two players to Palm Springs, Calif., to compete in the Fall Desert Collegiate Classic, Nov. 6-9. The tournament is being held at the Desert Princess Country Club.

Sophomore Stephanie Balzert and freshman Carolin Walter will represent Baylor. Walter, in her first collegiate competition for Baylor last weekend, won both singles and doubles at the Dartmouth Invitational

Singles competition begins on Thursday with a 48-player championship draw with each player guaranteed three matches. A single elimination, 16-team doubles draw will begin on Thursday as well. Balzert and Walter will compete as a doubles team.
