WACO, Texas - The No. 33 Baylor women's tennis team rebounded from two straight Big 12 losses to defeat the Iowa State Cyclones, 6-1, in Ames. With temperatures hovering in the low 50's Friday afternoon, play was moved to the indoor courts at the Ames Racquet and Fitness Club. Baylor moves to 17-7 overall and 7-4 in league play, while Iowa State is now 5-12 on the season and 1-10 in Big 12 action.

The Bears got a scare when the Cyclones took all three doubles matches to go up 1-0. However, Baylor steamed through singles winning all matches in two sets. In fact, no Cyclone player took more than seven games off their Baylor counterpart during the singles competition.

Next up for the Bears is the Big 12 Tournament hosted by Texas A&M. The tournament will be held from April 25-28 in College Station, Texas.
