WACO, Texas - Women's golf coach Sylvia Ferdon released the 2001-2002 Baylor women's golf schedule Friday.
The Bears will play five tournaments in the fall, including a trip to Hawaii for the Rainbow Wahine Fall Golf Tournament in October.
Six tournaments are scheduled for the spring. Baylor will host the Tapatio Springs Intercollegiate Shootout at the Tapatio Springs Golf Resort in Boerne, Texas March 28-29, 2002.
The women's golf team finished third at the Big 12 Tournament last season, with four of five players finishing in the top 25.
All six team members will return for the 2001-2002 season with the addition of sophomore Kelli McKandless from Hamilton, Texas. McKandless transferred in from McLennan Community College.
