Waco - As part of fall drills, the Baylor baseball team will play its annual Green and Gold game Saturday, October 21 at 3 p.m. at the Baylor Ballpark.
The game, which is free and open to the public, will match the newcomers (Green) against the returning Baylor Bears (Gold). The Green team will be coached by Baylor assistants Steve Johnigan and Chris Berry, while the Gold team will be directed by head coach Steve Smith and assistant Mitch Thompson. All position players and pitchers will see action in the game.
The Baylor Baseball Diamond Girls will conduct a bake sale and refreshments will be available during the game.
Baylor, the 2000 Big 12 Champions, begins the season February 2, 2001 at the Enron Field Classic in Houston, Texas.
