Megan Glynn enters her second season as an Assistant Jumping Seat coach for the Bears in 2026-27.
In the 2025-26 season, Glynn and her Jumping Seat squad posted a 5-7 record in Fences and a 7-5 record in Flat. The Bears earned four dominating wins in the Fences event, including a 4-0 win over UT Martin. On the Flat side, BU went undefeated in the Spring and recorded a 3-2 event win over No. 3 South Carolina. Under Glynn’s coaching, she helped Lauren Reid to a remarkable senior season, earning an 8-4 record in Fences and a 9-3 record in Flat. Reid’s incredible record plus her four Most Outstanding Performer honors named her the Big 12 Flat Rider of the Year while also being tabbed to the All-Big 12 Fences and Flat team. Freshman Morgan McCarthy (Flat) and senior Lauren Jorgensen (Fences) joined Reid on the All-Big 12 team. Jorgensen also earned monthly Flat and Fences awards for both the NCEA and Big 12. Jorgensen (Fences Second Team) and Reid (Flat First Team) were also named All-Americans. Glynn’s squad also earned a combined 16 MOPs in both events.
A former Baylor Equestrian, Glynn was a manager for the green and gold from 2017-2019 and joined the team as a student-athlete from 2019-2021.

I’m excited to share my enthusiasm for Baylor and support our student-athletes as they pursue excellence in competition, academics, and their spiritual and personal growth.”

In her time as a Bear, Glynn was selected to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection and was named a SACE Academic Champion in the 2019-20 season.
After her time at Baylor, Glynn began her career as an Assistant Trainer at JH Sporthorses in Northern California, which sparked her love for coaching and mentorship. She then returned to Waco and has served as a lesson instructor at McLennan Community College.
Glynn and her husband, Travis, were married in 2026.
