QUOTABLE

Head Coach Casie Maxwell

On today's meet…

"It definitely stings to be that close, but I can't be disappointed because of how they battled back in the second half and fought really hard to have us come out with a tie. With the two big points that we lost today, those errors are easy to fix. It's right there in our grip. TCU played really well today, so I've got to give it to them, but in the second half, especially in the Horsemanship, we put so much pressure on them to have to fight for that win."

On Horsemanship's strong performance…

"I was incredibly proud of horsemanship today. It has been a big thing for them to be able to ride hard and aggressively and put a lot of pressure on the other team while also staying clean. Every single ride was resilient. At the end of the day, that's a huge confidence boost for them and something that they'll take into the next meet."
