No. 20 VB Turns Attention to Top-20 Tilt with No. 17 Florida

WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball returns to the Ferrell Center Saturday for a marquee nonconference matchup, welcoming No. 17 Florida to Waco for the Bears' "Gold Rush" Match.
Saturday's contest will provide Baylor another opportunity to showcase itself against one of the nation's top teams. Since 2019, the Bears are 21-8 against ranked opponents at home, but have never seen the Gators on the Banks of the Brazos.
Baylor is 2-3 all-time against Florida, with the Gators claiming a five-set victory in Gainesville last season. Junior Grace Carroll, coming off a big showing against North Texas, hopes the Baylor Family turns out and proves to be the difference this time around.
"I'm excited to play this game at home," she said. "I think with this being a Saturday match, hopefully we'll have a good crowd. I'm really excited to continue advertising our games and push to fill the Ferrell; that's truly something we dream of, and talk about all the time. To be able to possibly have that opportunity and be able to live that out this weekend, I think is something super important to all of us."
Off to a 4-0 start for the second time in the last three seasons, the Bears aim to win a fifth-straight match for the first time since the end of the 2024 season.
Ksenia Rakhmanchik leads the team with 63 kills and enters Saturday riding a streak of 13 consecutive double-digit kill performances. Morgan Madison is pacing the team in digs (57), while Victoria Davis has been a force at the net, sending back 21 shots this season. Sophomore setter Isabela Haggard leads the team with two double-doubles to go along with her team-high 110 assists.
