
SOC’s Noelle Sather Selected to Represent Canada in FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

First-year Bear headed to Poland
WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer's Noelle Sather has been selected to Team Canada's U-20 squad for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, Canada Soccer announced Friday morning.
A first-year midfielder at Baylor, Sather joined the Bears' roster after spending two seasons at South Florida. She appeared in 37 matches for the Bulls and scored her first collegiate goal against Charlotte during the 2025 season.
Sather scored the Bears fourth and final goal in the 4-1 season-debuting win at No. 10 Arkansas.
The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, native earned a call-up to a Canada U-20 national team camp in May after signing with the Bears in November and was named an alternate for Canada's roster at the 2025 Concacaf Women's U-20 Qualifiers.
Canada opens Group B play against England at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, with the match airing on FOX Soccer Plus. The Canadians will also face Brazil on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and New Zealand on Saturday, Sept. 12, to conclude group play.
The knockout stage begins Wednesday, Sept. 16, with the Round of 16, and the tournament culminates with the championship match Sunday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m.
