
WT Prepped to Begin NCAA Tournament in College Station

Bears face No. 25 Wisconsin at 1 p.m. at Texas A&M’s Mitchell Tennis Center
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor women's tennis was selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 27th time in program history Monday afternoon and earned a first-round matchup against No. 25 Wisconsin in the College Station Regional, set for 1 p.m. at Texas A&M's Mitchell Tennis Center.
The hosting Aggies will face off with Quinnipiac at the same time Saturday afternoon, with the winners advancing to the regional final Sunday afternoon at 1.
Baylor enters the NCAA Tournament after falling to TCU, 4-1, in the Big 12 quarterfinals, where Zuzanna Kubacha delivered the Bears lone point with a 6-0, 6-2 win on Court Two.
BU's roster includes two All-Big 12 First Team singles players in No. 75 Na Dong and No. 83 Kubacha, along with the First Team All-Big 12 doubles duo of Alian Zack and Dong and All-Big 12 Freshman Team member Mu-Jie Tzeng.
Wisconsin enters the NCAA Tournament following a 4-1 loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals. The Badgers' lineup features a First Team All-Big Ten singles selection, No. 14 Maria Sholokhova, and a Second Team All-Big Ten singles player, Ekaterina Ivanova.
The winner of the College Station Regional will advance to face the winner of the Los Angeles Regional, which includes USC, Sacramento State, Utah and California.
