MBB’s Rataj Earns CSC Academic All-District

WACO, Texas – Baylor men's basketball guard Michael Rataj has been named to the Academic All-District® Team, CSC announced Tuesday morning.
The Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Rataj holds an impressive 3.83 cumulative GPA with a major in biochemistry.
The Augsburg, Germany, native competed in all 32 games this season for Baylor, averaging 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game with 10 appearances in double-figures. The senior dropped 1,220 points on his career in 125 games played.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 15.
