Game notes:
• Baylor concludes its regular-season home schedule Monday at 6 p.m. when it hosts Kansas State. The game will air live on ESPN2 and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
• The Bears meet the Wildcats for the 56th time in program history after splitting six matchups in the Nicki Collen era. Baylor earned a 17-point win in Manhattan last season, BU's first at K-State under Collen.
• At 23-6 overall, Baylor is ranked No. 15 in the AP Top 25 and No. 14 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. It marks the Bears' 22nd straight AP ranking and their 363rd in the last 20 seasons, the second most in that span behind UConn.
• BU is tied for second in the Big 12 standings with West Virginia at 12-4. TCU leads the league at 12-3 while Texas Tech and Colorado sit one game behind Baylor in a tie for fourth at 10-6.
• Baylor leads the Big 12 in blocks per game (6.4) and three-point percentage defense (25.1). The Bears also rank in the top three in field goal percentage defense (No. 2), rebounds per game (No. 2), defensive rebounds per game (No. 3) and winning percentage (No. 3).
• Baylor bounced back with a 14-point win over Arizona on Saturday night at Foster Pavilion.
• Three Bears scored in double figures: Taliah Scott with 22 points, including 11 from the free throw line, Marcayla Johnson with 12 and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs with 10. Bella Fontleroy also led on the boards with 10 rebounds, her second double-figure rebounding game of the year.
• After a slow first quarter, BU outscored Arizona 23-8 in the second, holding the Wildcats to 23.5% shooting and just four made field goals. In the third quarter, Arizona added five free throws but again was limited to four field goals on 26.7% shooting.
• The Bears finished with a Big 12-best 22 assists, led by Jana Van Gytenbeek's eight.
• Baylor has recorded at least 10 assists in 286 straight home games, a national‑leading streak dating to Nov. 12, 2010, and more than 100 games longer than the next‑closest active streak (Michigan State had 153 as of Feb. 12).
• Bears Taliah Scott and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs were named to midseason top‑10 lists for their respective Starting Five Awards through the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
• Baylor's two selections trail only South Carolina and UCLA, which have four each, and NC State and UConn, which have three. BU's two match 10 programs nationally and lead the Big 12, with BYU, Iowa State and TCU each earning one.
• Scott, selected to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Award top 10, ranks second in scoring among the group at 20.4 points per game, trailing Vanderbilt's Mikayla Blakes, who leads the list at 25.6.
• Scott was also added to the 2026 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Late-Season Team, as one of three Big 12 players mentioned and one of 11 underclassmen on the 30-player watchlist.
• Littlepage-Buggs, back among the nation's top power forwards after being named a Katrina McClain Award finalist last season, is one of two players on this year's top‑10 list averaging a double‑double, joined by NC State's Khamil Pierre.
