WACO, Texas — No. 21 Baylor volleyball was unable to muster a comeback against Colorado on Sunday afternoon in the Ferrell Center, falling 3-1 to the No. 24 Buffs.

GAME NOTES
Head Coach Ryan McGuyre on the difference between the first two sets and the last two — "We just played more Baylor volleyball. The last two sets were closer to being who we are, what we train for and what we're trying to do. Our blocks showed up; we slowed down on it. We dug some hard-driven balls that were at us, kept it up and then took some big swings, along with some smart shots as well. You hit .375, you're normally going to win. That's something we've normally been good at. We wanted them to hit zero, or negative, which we felt capable of, and that's what we did. We kept them low in the fourth, but we're low ourselves.
Morgan Madison on recovering after a slow start — "I definitely didn't like how I started playing, but I was like, what can I do now? I just focused on the next ball; that is something I really wanted to put energy into if I wasn't playing as well. Then I wanted to get my digging better, and passing came along too. I was just trying to get the team together and really show that I believe that we could still win that set and the next one."
