WACO, Texas – No. 7 Baylor soccer rallied behind a three-goal second half to scoot past Kansas State, 3-2, on Sunday afternoon at Betty Lou Mays Field.
Â
The win moved the Bears to 11-2-1 and extended their winning streak at home to six-straight matches. BU remains tied for second in conference standings with West Virginia.
Â
Kansas State struck first in the 35th minute, with Adelle Francis connecting off an assist from Alix Regier. The Bears' defense held the Wildcats off for the rest of the half, heading into the break down 1-0.
Â
Baylor responded after the break in the 66th minute, as Noelle Sather launched a ball into the goal on a free kick courtesy of a K-State handball just high of the penalty box. Sather's goal scored was her fourth of the season and her third since returning from playing for Canada at the U-20 World Cup.
Â
The Wildcats earned their lead back in the 71st minute with Francis netting a brace off another assist from Regier.
Â
Freshman Grace White wasted little time, striking a goal for Baylor in the 74th minute on an assist from fellow freshman Brynnlee Bohannon. White's goal is her fifth of the season and first since connecting against Oral Roberts.
Â
Theresa McCullough scored the Bears game-winner in the 77th minute, courtesy of an assist from Sydney Miller. McCullough's goal is her third of the season and her first since at the SEC bout at LSU off Miller's fifth assist of 2026.

On today's match…
"In the first half, we just had a lot of self-destructive moments and put ourselves in bad situations. I was happy with our response in the second half. We came out with some energy, and we were pressing them, creating some chances. Their resolve was there in the second half, their grit was there in the second half, and we had to fight back a couple of times, but it came from the heart."
Â
On the team's resilience…
"These games don't get any easier. They just get harder every single week, and so we have to get better from this experience. For them to not just get the tying goal, but to go out and continue to press, find the game-winning goal, it's just an example of how this team continues to grow. That resilience is going to be needed."
