T&F Opens Outdoor Season at Home with Clyde Hart Classic

Bears begin 2025 outdoor season with Saturday home meet
WACO, Texas – Baylor track and field opens the Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium for the 2025 season with the annual Clyde Hart Classic on Saturday.
Field events begin at 10 a.m. with running events following at 2 p.m. CT. The Clyde Hart Classic is scheduled to end with the men's 4x400-meter relay around 5:30 p.m. CT. Fans looking to attend can purchase tickets here.

The Bears are coming off a highly successful indoor season that left both men (23rd) and women (15th) inside the top 25 in rankings for the first time in the Michael Ford era. Additionally in the postseason, Baylor earned nine First Team All-Americans and three Second Team All-Americans, including a national champion in Alexis Brown in long jump and a national runner up in Nathaniel Ezekiel in the 400m.
BU will be one of seven teams entered into the Clyde Hart Classic. Joining the Bears are conference foes Oklahoma State along with Louisiana Tech, Stephen F. Austin, Western Michigan, Tarleton State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Sam Houston State.
Baylor will be well presented as 81 Bears have an entry into the outdoor debut meet.
