WACO, Texas – The Baylor women's tennis team takes a break from Big 12 action on Tuesday when it hosts No. 23 Arizona State at noon.
Admission at the Hurd Tennis Center is free for all fans and everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear white. A live stream and live stats are available for fans to follow along.
ABOUT THE BEARS
Baylor (8-5) is coming off a pair of road wins at Cincinnati and West Virginia. The Bears are 3-1 at home this season and have won four of their last five matches. Newcomer Miska Kadleckova leads the way for Baylor, posting a team-leading 7-1 record at the No. 1 position, while Isabella Harvison follows closely behind with six singles wins. In doubles action, the tandem of Kadleckova and Danielle Tuhten picked up two more wins over the weekend to improve to a team-best 7-2 this season.
ABOUT THE SUN DEVILS
Arizona State (7-3) has won three of its last five matches and enters Tuesday's match at No. 23 in the latest ITA rankings. The Sun Devils are coming off a win over No. 7 Ohio State after losing to the Buckeyes earlier in the season. The victory marked the first for ASU over Ohio State since 1990. The Sun Devils are led by #75 Giulia Morlet and Marianna Argyrokastriti, who have six singles victories apiece. The doubles team of Chelsea Fontenel and Patricija Spaka have a team-best 5-3 record in doubles action.
