WACO, Texas – The Baylor women's tennis team returns to the road this week beginning with a 3 p.m. matchup at Nebraska on Wednesday.

Baylor (11-5) jumped six spots in the latest ITA collegiate tennis team rankings, sitting at No. 26 heading into the week. The Bears have won five-straight matches and are 5-4 away from Waco this season. Collectively, Baylor has posted a 44-31 (.587) mark in singles action this spring, including a 17-3 ledger in Big 12 play, and are seeking its 20th doubles in at Nebraska. Newcomer Miska Kadleckova hold a team-leading 10-1 record in singles and 9-3 ledger in doubles, and sits at No. 101 in the ITA singles rankings. Isabella Harvison follows closely behind Kadleckova with eight singles victories while Danielle Tuhten has earned eight doubles wins.

Nebraska (9-3) started the year 9-1 before dropping its last two to start conference play. The Huskers are 8-3 at home this year, including 8-1 in non-conference action. Nebraska has three individuals with 10 singles wins this season, led by Maja Pietrowicz who has a perfect 6-0 record at the No. 3 position this spring. As a unit, the Huskers are 59-9 in singles play and 25-6 in doubles heading into the midweek matchup.
