No. 8 EQ Opens Conference Play against No. 5 Oklahoma State

WACO, Texas – No. 8 Baylor equestrian (0-2) hosts No. 5 Oklahoma State (0-1) this Friday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center. The Bears and the Cowgirls will saddle up for a 1 p.m. matchup to open conference play.

BU is still in search of its first win of the season after dropping its first two meets.

Elsie Naruszewicz (Horsemanship) remains undefeated headed into Big 12 play. Baylor gained some momentum in the Jumping Seat arena. Lauren Jorgensen scored her first-career point in Flat. Madison Mitchell earned above-88 scores in Flat through two weeks of competition.

BU posted a 2-4 conference record on its way to a third-place finish in the Big 12 last season.

Oklahoma State leads the all-time series over Baylor, 35-13. The two last faced off in the 2023 Big 12 Championship Semifinals. Live scoring will be available for the meet and can be found here.

The Bears will take a couple weeks off before continuing their conference campaign against Fresno State (0-2) on Thursday, Nov. 2 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
