Bears return home to host West Virginia on Thursday

THE RUNDOWN
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Baylor dropped a 4-1 contest at No. 17 Kansas Sunday afternoon in Lawrence.

Kansas took a 1-0 lead in the 30^th minute off a header by Mandi Duggan. Ten minutes into the second half, the Jayhawks added to their score with a goal by Kailey Lane. Duggan netted her second goal of the contest in the 81^st minute to put Kansas up by three.

Michaela Gorman put Baylor on the board in the 86^th minute. Ally Henderson delivered a corner kick that Gorman headed into the back of the net for the goal.

The Jayhawks added one more goal at the end of regulation by Ebba Costow.

HIGHLIGHTS

Michaela Gorman scored her second goal of the season in the 86^th minute.
Ally Henderson recorded her fourth assist of the year.
The Bears had the advantage in the first half as they controlled most of the possession and spent a majority of the frame on the attacking half of the field. During that time, BU outshot the Jayhawks, 10-1.
