Bears take two singles matches in the loss

THE RUNDOWN
WACO, Texas — The Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Baylor women's tennis team 5-2 Friday night to improve to 9-1 on the season.

The visitors took the doubles match and continued momentum by taking four of the six points in singles play. The Bears dropped to 5-8 on the season and have dropped seven in a row.

Livia Kraus and Jessica Hinojosa each took points for Baylor in singles, including Kraus' upset of No. 46 Justina Mikulskyte. Kraus returned to the No. 1 court and beat her Wildcat foe 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (11-9).

NOTABLES VS. KENTUCKY
• Livia Kraus won her 39^th career match in singles play.
• Jessica Hinojosa also won in three sets and leads Baylor this season with nine wins in dual match play.
