NORMAN, Okla. – Baylor fell to Oklahoma in overtime, 2-1, Sunday afternoon at John Crain Field.
Baylor got a pair of good looks at the goal in the eighth minute as Raegan Padgett's shot was save, but Elena Reyna recovered the rebound and booted a shot over the goal.
The Bears got on the board in the 13th minute off a goal by Elizabeth Kooiman. Padgett delivered a cross into the box that bounced around a little before Kooiman contained it and sent it into the back of the net.
Oklahoma evened the score in the 77th minute when Maya McCutcheon scored from inside the box.
In the final 10 minutes of regulation, Baylor fired off three shots that were all on goal. A pair of them went right to OU's keeper Nikki Panas. In the 86th minute, Kooiman pushed past her defender and launched a shot toward the bottom right corner of the goal, but Panas made the diving save to keep the score even.
Oklahoma's Kaylee Dao netted the golden goal in the 93rd minute.
