Bears kick off 2018 season with pair of home contests before road swing
WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer opens the 2018 season at home, facing ACU on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Samford on Sunday at 7 p.m., both at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field.
The Thursday match is the season opener for both Baylor and ACU, while the Sunday match vs. Samford will follow a Thursday night match for the Bulldogs against the in-state rival Auburn Tigers in Birmingham.
Sunday's match is the Back to School Kick Off match, with postgame autographs and poster giveaway for all fans.
Baylor students will receive free ice cream with valid ID, sponsored by the Enclave.
For the first time in program history, all home matches will offer a free live video stream on Facebook.com/BaylorFutbol.
Baylor soccer has also entered year two of a partnership with La Mejor (106.1 FM) to offer a Spanish radio broadcast of all the games at Betty Lou Mays this season.
