Bears look for season sweep over the Sooners for third-straight season
WACO, Texas –Baylor volleyball (14-7, 6-4 Big 12) looks for its third consecutive conference win when it faces Oklahoma on the road Saturday at 5 p.m. CT inside McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla.
A win would give Baylor six straight wins over OU for the first time since the 1999-2001 seasons.
Baylor also looks for its third-straight road win over the Sooners.
BEARS HIT THE ROAD FOR SATURDAY CONTEST
• After a midweek bye following a 3-0 sweep over Kansas, Baylor volleyball returns to Big 12 action with a road match against Oklahoma Saturday evening.
• Baylor looks for its fifth conference road win of the season and third-straight Big 12 victory.
• The Bears are currently 4-3 in conference home matches in 2018, recently beating TCU on Oct. 24.
• BU looks to sweep the season series for the third straight season, the first since the 1999-2001 seasons.
• A win would also give BU a series-tying sixth consecutive win over the Sooners.
• Last season, the Bears swept the season series for the second-straight season.
• In the last 10 series meetings, Baylor and Oklahoma have won five matches against each other.

• BU also had three players in double-digit digs with Aniah Philo (22), Tara Wulf (18) and Braya Hunt (10) leading the charge.
• Aniah Philo was one dig shy of her career high in digs, posting a season-high 22 against the Sooners.

• No. 24 Baylor volleyball earned its second consecutive road sweep after a 3-0 win at Oklahoma Saturday, Oct. 28 at McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla., 25-19, 25-22, 25-17.
• Freshman Yossiana Pressley matched a season-high 20 kills and hit .395 to lead all players for the second-straight match. She had a match-high six blocks as the Bears dominated at the net by a 10.0-4.0 margin.
• Defensively, senior Jana Brusek moved from fifth to third in the Baylor all-time career digs list with 13 digs against the Sooners (5-18, 2-8 Big 12).
• Baylor won its fourth straight vs. Oklahoma and swept the series for two straight years for the first time since the 2000-01 seasons.
