MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
- Baylor and Texas met for the 251st time - UT leads 162-89 in the series, including a 66-51 mark in Waco.
- Baylor moves to 14-7 against Texas since snapping a 24-game losing streak in 2009.
- Baylor's five-game win streak over the Longhorns is one shy of BU's longest win streak in the series, trailing only the six-game win streak from 1981-1983.
- Baylor is 14-20 against Texas in the Scott Drew era.
- Baylor is 53-11 against in-state opponents since the start of the 2011-12 season.
- Baylor is 60-55 in January games in the Drew era.

- Baylor held Texas to 0-for-9 over its last nine field goal attempts to close the game, finishing 2-for-13 in the second half (15.4%).
- Baylor trailed at the half for the sixth time and third-straight game this season, moving to 2-4 when doing so.

- Mark Vital (10 points) scored in double-figures for the sixth time in his freshman collegiate campaign.
- King McClure made a team-leading 27th consecutive start and played in his 30th consecutive game.
- Manu Lecomte (17 points) scored in double-figures for the 11th time this season and the 57th time in his collegiate career.
- Lecomte finished 5-for-5 on free throws, making five or more free throws for the fourth time this season.
