EQ Faces No. 3 Auburn in Road Meet

AUBURN, Ala. - No. 7 Baylor equestrian (1-2, 0-1 Big 12) will face No. 3 Auburn (0-0) on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Auburn University Horse Center.
The Bears are coming off a hard-fought meet against No. 5 SMU (2-0, 1-0) last Saturday, which ended in a 10-10 draw. When turning to raw scores, BU came up short (1566.0-1491.5), handing the squad its second loss of the 2017-18 season.
For the Tigers, Saturday's meet will serve as UA's season opener following its three exhibition meets against Tennessee, Alabama, and Ole Miss-their most recent event being its Oct. 6 16-2 home exhibition win over Ole Miss.
Following Saturday's competition, the Bears will travel to Springtown, Texas, on Oct. 28 to face No. 8 TCU in BU's second Big 12 event of the 2017-18 season to close out its fall competition schedule.
