
A&T Faces Alderson Broaddus at Home Sunday

WACO, Texas ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" The top-ranked and defending national champion Baylor Acrobatics and Tumbling team will look to add another win against No. 6 Alderson Broaddus University this Sunday March 6, at the Ferrell Center at 1 p.m. CT.
"We have been working on cleaning up execution," said head coach Felecia Mulkey. "Our goal is to score higher in the compulsory and pyramid events, which were two problem areas for us last week against Oregon."
The Bears (2-0) opened the 2016 season with victories over the No. 5 Quinnipiac Bobcats and the No. 2 Oregon Ducks. In their most recent victory, the Bears defeated Oregon 278.935-274.450 at home on Feb. 21.
Alderson Broaddus (3-2) has stayed busy during the early portion of the season. The Battlers opened their season with a win over Glenville State before competing in two straight tri-meets. In their first tri-meet, the Battlers defeated both Glenville State and King University on the road. In their second tri-meet, Alderson Broaddus were bested at home by both Fairmont State University and Quinnipiac University.
