WACO, Texas ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" Baylor equestrian's Paige Parker and Alicia Gasser were honored as the Big 12 Riders of the Month for February, announced by the conference office.

Gasser earned her third-consecutive monthly award, giving her three this season and four in her career. Parker earned the first conference recognition of her career.

After becoming the first rider in Baylor history to sweep both conference and national awards in the same month, Gasser makes it back-to-back months, earning both the Big 12 and National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Rider of the Month for Equitation on the Flat in consecutive months.

Gasser, a junior from Scottsdale, Ariz., went 4-0 in the flat in the month of February, picking up a Most Outstanding Player (MOP) nod and improving to 10-2 on the season, extending a nine-meet win streak.

Parker, a senior from Medford, N.J., posted a 3-1 record during the month of February, earning an MOP award and scoring 83 or higher in all four meets. Parker is the second Baylor rider to earn the monthly accolade for equitation over fences this season, joining Savannah Jenkins, who was selected in October.
