Baylor returns three athletes, who have competed in NCAA Indoor Championships, including 2014 triple jump champion Felix Obi. The women enter ranked No. 22, while the men are 30th.
~~~
After winning Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors, Taylor Bennett leads the women's contingent by participating in three events - the 60, 200 and 4x400-meter relay. The Spring, Texas, native owns the NCAA's 14th-fastest 60-meter time (7.30) and the sixth- fastest 200-meter mark (23.08).
~~~
On the men's side, the Bears have two athletes representing them in individual events, including Obi in the triple jump, who is looking to get healthy after missing the Big 12 Championship with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, freshman Wil London, the men's Big 12 Freshman of the Year, will run in the 400 meters.

Two women's athletes are back, after carding All-America honors at the 2015 NCAA Indoor meet. Fresh off winning the Big 12 title in the 800 meters, Olicia Williams will look to improve on last year's third-place finish in the event. In the pole vault, Annie Rhodes finished eighth a year ago.

Among the first-time NCAA Indoor participants, Cion Hicks is BU's final individual competitor as she enters with the sixth-best shot put in the land.
~~~
The highlight of Baylor's indoor season has been the return to prominence of its 4x400-meter relays. The women's relay is returning to the NCAA Indoor Championships for the first time since 2006, after winning the Big 12 title in a season-best 3:33.47 to grab the 12th and final qualifying spot.
~~~
The BU men have scored points at the NCAA Indoor Championships every year since 1981, 35 straight years. The women have tallied points at the national indoor meet in five straight seasons and in 11 of the last 12 years
