SKILLMAN, N.J. - Baylor women's tennis placed four singles players and two doubles tandems in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings for the 2014-15 season, the ITA announced on Wednesday.

The four singles players, Ema Burgic (No. 19), Blair Shankle (No. 38), Kiah Generette (No. 74) and Leolia JeanJean (No. 110), marked the second-straight year that the Bears have had at least four representatives in the end-of-the-year rankings. Meanwhile in doubles, Burgic and Shankle were No. 12 and Kelley Anderson and JeanJean were No. 45.

Burgic, ranked No. 19, wrapped up her senior season with a 20-8 record in the NCAA Singles Championship round of 16. She was 16-6 in dual-match play with all of that action coming at the No. 1 spot in the lineup. By advancing to the round of 16, Burgic earned ITA All-America singles honors for the second-time in her career. Overall, she was 96-29 in singles play during her career, while her 96 singles wins are 10th-most in program history.

Shankle, listed at No. 38, produced a 29-7 record in her sophomore season, which ended with a loss in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championship. She led the team in wins and dual-match singles wins at 23-2, including a perfect 12-0 effort at the No. 3 spot.

Generette, ranked at No. 74, tallied a 19-10 overall record and 14-6 dual-match mark in her junior campaign.

JeanJean, finished at No. 110, went 13-2 in her first season in Waco with the majority of her matches coming at the No. 4 spot.

In doubles, Burgic and Shankle teamed up to post a 13-5 record and a 6-5 mark against ranked opponents. The duo, which didn't play together after March 22, reunited for the NCAA Doubles Championship to advance to the quarterfinals. That run earned the tandem ITA All-America honors.

Anderson and JeanJean, who were No. 45, notched a 9-3 record overall and a 4-0 mark against ranked foes.

Overall, Baylor has had 31 All-American selections, including 15 singles selections and 16 doubles picks. A total of 28 of those selections have come in the last 13 years under head coach Joey Scrivano.

Last week in the final team rankings of the season, Baylor finished No.8 - its highest final ranking since being No. 6 in 2011.

Baylor also made a splash in the ITA Texas Region rankings, earning the No. 1 spot in the team, singles and doubles rankings. BU placed five in the top 20 in singles and two in the top 10 in doubles. Baylor had Burgic at No. 1, Shankle at No. 4, Generette at No. 10, Theresa Van Zyl at No. 16 and Kelley Anderson No. 17. In doubles, the Lady Bears had Burgic and Shankle at No. 1 and Anderson and Van Zyl at No. 7.
