WACO, Texas - The 10th-ranked Baylor's men's tennis team will play its first road match of the 2015 dual-match season by traveling to No. 40 Tulsa Friday at 6 p.m.

The Bears are 3-1 on the season, after sweeping No. 73 Louisiana-Lafayette, 7-0, on Jan. 29.

"We have to establish ourselves as a good road team," head coach Matt Knoll said. "I think the closeness of our team is going to be a real strength of ours when we go out on the road like this. We lost to them when we went up there two years ago. We certainly don't need to be reminded about that. It will be another great opportunity for us."

The match was originally scheduled to be played Saturday, but last week was moved to Friday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Baylor has won the doubles point in all four of its matches so far in 2015 and the tandem of Diego Galeano and Julian Lenz are a perfect 3-0 in dual-match play.

In singles, the fifth-ranked Lenz has shined as well, holding a 2-0 record. BU also has two other ranked singles players in senior Tony Lupieri, who is 26th and 3-1 in dual-match play, while junior Felipe Rios is No. 121 and 2-1 so far. On the season, Tulsa is 7-2, after three wins as part of a tripleheader on Jan. 30. The Golden Hurricane's only losses are to then-No. 9 Texas and at then-No. 5 Ohio State. Baylor has won three straight against Tulsa and leads the all-time series, 7-2. BU has beaten the Golden Hurricane in the second round of the NCAA Championships for the last two years. However, the Bears were upset 5-2 in their last trip to Tulsa on Feb. 3, 2013.

Live results and a live video stream of the match will be available on BaylorBears.com via TulsaHurricane.com.

Following the match against Tulsa, Baylor will start its run in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship on Feb. 13.
