WACO, Texas - The fifth-ranked Baylor's men's tennis team will host No. 11 Virginia at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center Sunday at 1 p.m.

The match was scheduled to be played outdoors, but inclement weather forced the action inside.

It will the second time the Bears face the Cavaliers this season, after downing UVA, 4-3, at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships on Feb. 14.

The Bears are 8-2 on the year, following two wins this past weekend over No. 55 Purdue, 7-0, and No. 12 UCLA, 4-0.

BU is led by 11th-ranked Julian Lenz, who is 7-1 on the season. Baylor has two other ranked players in singles with Tony Lupieri and Max Tchoutakian listed at No. 23 and 40 respectively in the latest ITA rankings. The Bears are led in doubles with Lupieri joining Felipe Rios to be ranked No. 19, while Lupieri and Zsiga are listed as the country's 57th-best duo.

Virginia will head to Waco with a 7-1 record on the season, with that only loss coming versus Baylor two weeks ago.

The Cavaliers are led by Thai-Son Kwiatkowski and Ryan Shane, who are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the nation according to the latest ITA rankings. Also ranked for Virginia are Mitchell Frank, No. 59, and Mac Styslinger, No. 91. Styslinger and Kwiatkowski pair up to form the nation's No. 54 ranked doubles tandem, while the duo of Luca Corinteli and Ryan Shane are ranked No. 55.

The Bears trail 4-8 in the all-time series against Virginia and snapped a seven-match losing streak with the victory in Chicago.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Hurd Tennis Center. Free Dr Pepper ice cream floats will be served prior to the match.

Live scoring, live video and a live blog for the matches against Purdue and UCLA will be provided on BaylorBears.com.

Following the match against Virginia, Baylor will open Big 12 play by hosting TCU Tuesday at 6 p.m. the Hurd Tennis Center.
