TOP QUOTES
"Kyle does a really, really good job of positioning his golf ball, and he has a good short game," head coach Mike McGraw said. "And on this golf course, the greens are not very big, so you're going to miss a few greens. So you need to get the ball up and down. And you need to play from position, because if you're not, you can't get good birdie opportunities. He plays good, strategic golf and has a good short game, and sometimes there are courses for horses. I hope they play the U.S. Open there some day. I think he could do fine. But he loves the place, and he had a good attitude going in."

"I think we made more putts," McGraw said. "That's the simple way of looking at it. The guys played well. The wind actually blew a little bit today, it blew 15 mph for quite a bit of the round, which kind of changes the whole complexion of the golf course. It's just harder immediately, but they did a good job of handling the wind, and they just played well. I don't know any other way to say it. They were very patient. It's the kind of golf course you generally have to be patient on, because you feel like there's a lot of birdie opportunities, when in reality there's not as many as you think."
